Keck's Exclusives: Chase Casts Nia Long in Arc

NBC's Chase has cast Nia Long (The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Third Watch) in the role of Assistant U.S. Attorney Melissa Randolph, described to me as a feisty lady who'll face off with the show's Deputy U.S. Marshal Jimmy Godfrey (Cole Hauser). The possibly multi-episode arc finds Jimmy employing renegade tactics in an attempt to rescue Annie Frost (Kelli Giddish) from a deadly drug cartel. Jimmy ultimately delivers a huge political win to Randolph — allowing her to take down the powerful cartel — which only complicates their already tumultuous relationship. Long's first appearance will likely be in mid-December.
