Going into NCIS' 10th season, you'd think we've learned all there is to know about Mark Harmon's Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Think again. As I reported last week, an October episode will introduce Star Wars vet Billy Dee Williams as Gibbs' namesake.
"It's a relationship that existed between Gibbs' father, Jackson [Ralph Waite, who'll return], and one of his best friends, named Leroy Jethro," says exec producer Gary Glasberg. "Billy Dee's LJ will provide unexpected insight into the men who influenced Gibbs," as well as a startling revelation about his family. Gibbs will also have his hands full with a new basement construction project that won't be revealed until the finale.
