VIDEO: Katie Couric to Go Makeup-Free on Talk Show

Katie Couric is taking it all off — at least when it comes to her makeup.
For the first time in her TV career, Couric, 56, will appear on her talk show completely makeup-free on Friday's episode.
Couric's audience will also go sans makeup for the episode, a stunt inspired by Massachusetts mom Phoebe Baker Hyde who gave up all of her beauty habits for an entire year.

Guests on the show will include makeup expert and former "large-sized" model Morgen Schick, Caroline Heldman, a professor specializing in gender and media, and former women's magazine editor Jessie Knadler. Katie will also do a hidden camera segment that examines how the public responds to a woman when she's dolled up versus when she foregoes makeup and wears her glasses.
