In Thursday night's episode, Izzie returns to Grey's Anatomy after the three-episode hiatus that Katherine Heigl took to shoot a film. Don't get used to her being around, however. Heigl will be taking another leave of absence, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Reps for the ABC series declined to comment on when and how Dr. Izzie Stevens will take off again. Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the story, said she'll likely be missing in action until early 2010.
