"I learned that in the heat of the moment I have a sharp tongue, and looking back there are probably a lot of people that I love that I probably spoke to inappropriately," Gosselin said during the second part of her Today show interview on Wednesday. "I've really learned to watch what I say."

In the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star's new book, I Just Want You to Know, Gosselin writes: "Much of what I said to Jon was unwarranted. I could have guarded my tongue better."
When host Meredith Vieira asked Gosselin, 35, if she thinks her new TLC show, Twist of Kate, will give husband Jon more ammunition against her in his fight for custody of their children, the mother of eight insisted it's the best way to support her family.

"I don't see another option. I have eight children to provide for and this is a great opportunity. It's certainly not going to cut the mustard being a nurse working 12-hour shifts, six days a week," Gosselin said. "I wouldn't see the kids any more than I see them now."
