2013 is already off to a great start for Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss!
The reality star and Grammy-winning songwriter got engaged to line producer Todd Tucker on New Year's Day, Us Weekly reports.

Tucker, 39, popped the question during a New Year's celebration with friends, including co-star Phaedra Parks, at the couple's Atlanta home. After getting permission from Burruss' 10-year-old daughter Riley, Tucker got on one knee and presented her with a two-carat diamond ring by Gregg Ruth. "I was totally surprised," Burruss, 36, told the magazine.
Burruss was engaged once before — to Ashley "A.J." Jewell, who passed away in 2009 shortly after the couple called it quits.
No word yet on whether Burruss will follow in former co-star Kim Zolciak's footsteps and allow her wedding to be filmed.
