Kaley Cuoco To Make a Big Bang As People's Choice Awards Host

Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has been taped to host the People's Choice Awards, CBS announced Thursday.
"We are thrilled to welcome Kaley as the new host of People's Choice Awards," ceremony executive producer Mark Burnett said in a statement. "She's been making people laugh on top-rated comedy series for the last decade, first with 8 Simple Rules and now with The Big Bang Theory, Thursday's #1 show. I'm looking forward to working with her on a fun-filled, comedy-packed show in January."
Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco is engaged
This will be Cuoco's first time hosting the ceremony, following Queen Latifah's five-year run as emcee. Cuoco, who announced her engagement to Josh Resnik earlier this week, hosted the Teen Choice Awards back in August.
Nominations will be announced on Nov. 8. The People's Choice Awards 2012 will air on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 9/8c on CBS.
