Kaley Cuoco Endorses Dish Network's Hopper Amid CBS Lawsuit

Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco sent a sponsored tweet endorsing Dish Network, even as her employer is suing the satellite provider, TheWrap.com reports.

CBS joined ABC, Fox and NBC in filing a lawsuit against Dish over a feature on its Hopper service, which allows users to watch shows like The Big Bang Theory without commercials.

Who are the worst-dressed characters on TV?

Earlier this week, Cuoco tweeted a paid endorsement of the service to her 1.2 million Twitter followers, according to TheWrap, which reportedly read: "Amazing! Watching live TV anywhere on the #Hopper looks pretty awesome! Now where can I find a tiny beer? #ad." But the tweet was removed once reporters asked for her comment on it — and Dish President and CEO Joe Clayton thinks Cuoco's bosses may have had a hand in that.

"It's disappointing that CBS — once the exemplar of editorial independence and innovation — continues to use its heavy hand to hold back progress from consumers," Clayton said in a statement, according to TheWrap.

In response, CBS released its own statement: "Once again, Joe Clayton demonstrates his dubious gift for hyperbole and hucksterism. No demands were made, but it's clear that Dish's culture of fabrication is alive and well."

Dish certainly isn't the only company Cuoco shills for. She appeared in a Super Bowl ad for Toyota, and has also endorsed Priceline in ads alongside William Shatner. However, CBS president Les Moonves has publicly spoken out against the service in question, saying he believes it's "illegal."

What do you think? Should Cuoco be advertising the service while the lawsuit is unresolved?
