Smallville's Justin Hartley and his soap star wife Lindsay Hartley are getting a divorce after eight years of marriage, TMZ reports.

Lindsay filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court last week, citing "irreconcilable differences." She is asking for joint custody of their 7-year-old daughter, Isabella.

The couple met in 2003 on the set of the NBC soap Passions and married a year later. Lindsay has gone on to star on Days of Our Lives and All My Children. She also guest-starred as Mad Harriet on the final season of Smallville. Justin, who played Oliver Queen/Green Arrow on the show, most recently appeared on Chuck, Castle and Hart of Dixie.
