Judge Judy Hospitalized for Intestinal Discomfort

Judy Sheindlin

Judge Judy was hospitalized Wednesday for intestinal discomfort.

The TV judge (full name: Judy Sheindlin) was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after paramedics received a 911 call from the set of her show.

"The judge was feeling nauseous and had some intestinal discomfort and decided to go to the hospital to get it checked out," said Gary Rosen, her rep. "They are keeping her overnight for tests."

Sheindlin told TMZ Wednesday afternoon that she was "fine" and was feeling "funky this morning."

"I'm really fine. I wanted to go back to work this afternoon," she told the site. "I'm exhausted. I'm just tired. A lot of things just zoned together, including the bad news of the world."

She added that doctors are running a few more tests, but she expects to get discharged Thursday. "I'm going to go home tomorrow," she said. "It was a bad idea to fly home tonight."
