Joy Behar Says Goodbye to The View on "Monumental Day"
Another one (sadly) bites the dust.
Just one month after bidding adieu to Elisabeth Hasselbeck, The View said goodbye to one of the show's original co-hosts, Joy Behar.
"Welcome to quite a monumental day on The View," Whoopi Goldberg said on Friday' show. "After 16 seasons..."
"A monument is leaving," Behar added.

The episode featured a highlight reel of some of Behar's best moments and also welcomed a long line of celebrity guests including Regis Philbin, Alan Alda, Joan Rivers, Mario Cantone, Susie Essman, Tony Bennett and former co-host Meredith Vieira.
"I love you, Joy. I've loved every moment working with you," Barbara Walters told her. "Thank you, thank you and thank you, and we are really going to miss you."

Behar, 70, announced she was leaving The View back in March. "My co-hosts who stay with me now and to all the girls that have sat here before, I'd love to say thank you," she said on Friday's show. "I was born in the only-child seat, but now I know what sibling rivalry is all about."
During the program, Behar also personally thanked The View co-creator Walters, who will leave the program in May. "Thank you for asking me to join you at the table all these years ago. My life hasn't been the same since," she said. "You're such a legend and a friend of mine. You're an icon."
Will you miss Behar?
