J.J. Abrams' Alcatraz Pilot Casts Female Lead

Sons of Anarchy's Sarah Jones has been cast as the lead in J.J. Abrams' Fox pilot Alcatraz, Deadline reports.

The project focuses on a group of missing Alcatraz prisoners and guards who reappear in the present day after disappearing 30 years ago. A team of FBI agents tries to track them down and unravel the mystery behind their disappearance. Jones will play Rebecca Madsen, a smart and slightly obsessive police officer.
Jones joins Lost alum Jorge Garcia, who was recently cast in the series as Alcatraz expert Diego Soto.
The 27-year-old actress also starred on HBO's Big Love.
