In Jon Gosselin's interview with ABC, titled Primetime: Family Secrets, he told interviewer Chris Cuomo that he loves girlfriend Hailey Glassman more than he ever did his ex-wife Kate.
"I get encouragement from her, I get respect from [Glassman]. Two things that a man needs," he said of of the 22-year--old Glassman, who he continues to claim he was not involved with before his separation from Kate. "This is someone, I mean, like soulmate — like people joke about that. But I'm not joking about that."
"My heart pounds, I get sweaty — I don't know," he said.

But Gosselin didn't get off easy with Cuomo, who pointed out on several occasions that Gosselin's choices affect his kids and his future in their lives. "Hailey and I have talked about that," Gosselin replied. "I have so much to lose in this situation. I could lose custody, I could lose my kids, I could lose... but I feel like with her that I'm not going to lose them. It's just going to get better."
Cuomo also had some strong thoughts about Divorced Dads Club, the reality show that Gosselin is reportedly pursuing. Cuomo asked Gosselin what message doing such a show would send his children. When Gosselin began his answer with "It doesn't matter," Cuomo quickly cut him off.

"It matters — if you care about your kids, it matters," Cuomo said.
Gosselin insisted that his kids know who he really is, despite what is written about him.

"They know I have a good heart," he said. "It's just like the change from America's favorite dad to dirtbag. Tomorrow I could be maybe America's favorite dad again. It could be after this interview. I don't know. Whatever [the tabloids] want to write, let them write it. They're going to write it anyway. I've learned that lesson."
