Johnny Knoxville Opens Up About Ryan Dunn's Death in Blog Post

Although Johnny Knoxville spoke at Ryan Dunn's memorial Wednesday, he says he couldn't convey what his co-star, and friend, meant to him.
"What came out were the mumblings of a man trying his best not to cry," Knoxville wrote on his blog Sunday. "I also didn't get to properly convey what Ryan meant to me. I won't be able to do that here either, but I will try. Here is what I wished I could have told everyone then."

Knoxville wrote that was Dunn funny but could be serious too. "Ryan was a great listener," he said. "If you were having troubles, he was always someone you could go sit down and talk to ... That's why all this is even harder because right now I really need to talk to him but I can't."

Dunn, 34, died last week after a crashing his car while driving drunk outside of Philadelphia.
After Knoxville went on to reveal how hard it was to tell his daughter that Dunn had died, he closed by saying, "I love you, Ryan. I have a lot of emotions swirling, but I want you to know I love you so very much."
In other news, Dunn's G4 show, Proving Ground, will return on July 19. The network will air the remaining nine episodes of the show, which had premiered just prior to Dunn's death but was pulled after the tragedy. The show's return will follow a special episode of Attack of the Show featuring a look back at Dunn's career, along with interviews with friends and family.
