John Travolta to Play John Gotti Sr.
John Travolta
John Travolta has been tapped to play John Gotti Sr. in the upcoming independent film Gotti: Three Generations.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story will focus on the relationship between Gotti Sr., the head of the Gambino crime family, and son John Gotti Jr., who took over the family business after his father died in prison in 2002. The younger Gotti also served time in prison.

Nick Cassevetes is directing a screenplay by Leo Rossi.
Travolta's last role was in the 2010 action flick From Paris with Love.
