CNN Anchor John Roberts Heads to Fox News

CNN anchor John Roberts is joining Fox News as a national correspondent.
"His reputation as a skilled journalist with years of notable experience in the field will be a valuable addition to our news programming," Fox News executive Michael Clemente said in a statement.

Roberts joined CNN in 2006 and co-anchored CNN's American Morning from 2007 until last month, when he left the program, amid talk of a show revamp, to move to Atlanta. (He will be based there for his new position.) Before joining CNN, Roberts worked for CBS News for 14 years.
Roberts is engaged to CNN Newsroom anchor Kyra Phillps. The couple is expecting twins in the spring.
