John Mellencamp has finalized his divorce from model Elaine Irwin, People reports.

The two, who were married for 18 years, negotiated "an amicable settlement of all issues involving property and maintenance rights, the custody and support of their children, and all other issues," according the settlement agreement.
They will share joint legal custody of their sons, Hud, 17, and Speck, 16, with Irwin having primary physical custody. The rocker will pay for child support and the boys' schooling.
Are John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan secretly dating?
Mellencamp, 59, and Irwin, 41, announced their separation in December and he filed for divorce in January. Since the split, he has been dating Meg Ryan.
