John Mayer to Make Oscar Debut as Aniston's Date

Singer-songwriter-celebrity boyfriend John Mayer will make his first trip down the Academy Awards' red carpet Sunday with on-again girlfriend Jennifer Aniston.
"It's my first Oscars," Mayer told blog PopSugar. "And it's my first being an Oscar boyfriend."
Aniston is rumored to be presenting during the Oscars ceremony, which will also be attended by Aniston's ex-husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Mayer — who's made some awards show rounds of late, picking up a couple extra Grammys earlier this month — said he's heading back to the studio after Sunday.
"After that night, I have a deal almost signed in blood that says I must go into the studio and finish this record," Mayer said. "Monday morning, I'm invisible."
