CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler announced on Wednesday at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour that the Eye is working on a showcase for crooner John Mayer.
"It's being developed right now," Tassler said, describing the program as a "music/variety/sketch thing."
Will Jen Aniston and Mayer's myriad other romantic conquests be getting a weekly dose of their man? Or will this be a one night stand? "We're looking at a couple of things," said Tassler. It could be a series of specials, a [weekly] series.... We're shooting the pilot right now, and we'll make a decision after that."
