John Corbett to Star in NCIS: LA Spin-Off

John Corbett has been cast as the lead of the NCIS: LA spin-off pilot, TVGuide.com has learned.
This second spin-off in the franchise will follow a team of mobile agents as they solve crimes across the country. The potential series will be introduced as a backdoor pilot on an episode of NCIS: LA titled "Red" later this season.

Corbett will play Roy Quaid, a former NCIS Special Agent who was forced to retire from active service and now works as an analyst. Although he's no longer an active agent, Quaid is the most experienced investigator on his Red Team.
Corbett, who played fan favorite Aidan on Sex and the City, recurs on NBC's Parenthood.
