Joan Rivers' daughter Melissa Rivers has released an update about the star's condition, Us Weekly reports.
In a statement delivered by a rep for Mount Sinai Hospital, where Rivers is hospitalized, Melissa said: "I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother. She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers."

As previously reported, the comedienne was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after she stopped breathing while having a procedure performed on her vocal chords at a clinic. Rivers was reported to be in critical condition early Thursday afternoon but was upgraded to stable later that day.
