Jimmy Kimmel paid an emotional tribute to his uncle Frank, showing a video montage of Frank's funniest, quirkiest moments to the accompaniment of Sinatra's "My Way."
"Uncle Frank loved being a part of this show," the tearful host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! said. "Thanks to all of you who came to the show and who watched for indulging me and letting me put my crazy uncle on television."
Jimmy Kimmel's Uncle Frank dies at 77
Potenza was a retired New York policeman and Las Vegas casino security guard whom Kimmel invited to Los Angeles to join the late-night talk show. He was married to Kimmel's aunt for 28 years.
