Jesse McCartney to Star in Fox's Locke & Key

Fox has tapped actor-singer Jesse McCartney to star in the drama pilot Locke & Key, according to Deadline.

Locke & Key centers on widow Nina Locke (Miranda Otto) and her three kids Tyler (McCartney), Kinsey (Sarah Bolger), and Bode (Skylar Gaertner), who return to live in their old family home after their father Rendell is brutally murdered.
McCartney will be able to demonstrate his musical talents as his character, who feels guilty for his father's death and isolates himself by retreating into music.
McCartney recently recurred on Greek.
