Jesse James says he was never "100 percent in" his marriage to Sandra Bullock and that he should've left before he started cheating on her.

"I was never 100 percent in," he says in the June issue of Men's Journal. "I cheated on my wife. Guess what? So do millions of other men."
In a separate interview with Piers Morgan, James admits he should've done the "honorable thing" and ended their marriage if he "wanted to screw around." "I'm 100 percent to blame," he says. "I take full accountability for my actions, you know? No one was holding a gun to my head to do what I did."
After James confessed his infidelity last March, shortly after Bullock's Oscar win, the actress divorced him and moved to Austin, Texas. James has since moved there as well and is now engaged to tattoo artist Kat Von D.
Which celebrity breakup shocked you the most?
Though he's not happy that he hurt Bullock, James says he's partially glad things happened the way they did because he's "a firm believer that things happen in life to teach us a lesson" — but he would "never want to put anybody through that again."
"I don't think Sandy and I were ever really friends," he says, adding that he and Von D have "a deeper understanding" of each other. "Kat and I seem to be connected on, like, such a higher level. I've never had someone like have my back 100 percent, you know?"
