Jeremy Piven's rep says her client's remarks about soy milk and man boobs were made in jest and have been taken out of context.

Piven blames soy milk for man boobs

"[Piven's comment] was taken from a silly Q&A piece that he did for a U.K. [movie] magazine called Empire," Piven's rep, Samantha Mast, told TVGuide.com. "They asked him, 'How much is a pint of milk?' to which he responded, 'I don't have a clue.' He said he used to drink soy milk, found out it had too much estrogen, made a funny remark about growing breasts and that was it."

In the comment in question, Piven said he "dabbled in soy milk," but learned its estrogen could cause him to grow breasts, so he "had to put the soy milk down."

"It was a very confusing time," he added.
