Jennifer Love Hewitt's Mother Dies at 67

Patricia Hewitt, mother of actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, died Tuesday, US Weekly reports. She was 67.
Patricia died from complications with her cancer, an illness her Client List star daughter kept private from the public.

"Her family mourns her loss," a rep for the actress said in a statement. "She was an angel to all who knew her and they are grateful she is now in a better place. They ask for privacy at this difficult time. No further details are being provided."
Patricia was a speech-language pathologist who moved to Los Angeles in 1989 so Jennifer could pursue her dreams of acting. The following year, Jennifer joined Kids Incorporated. Patricia is survived by daughter Jennifer and her son Dr. Todd Hewitt.
