Jennifer Lawrence gave a beautiful acceptance speech at Sunday's Screen Actors Guild Awards, but it was what she did on her way to the podium that really had everyone talking.
As the Silver Linings Playbook star walked up the stairs to accept her award, viewers got a big but brief flash of Lawrence's upper legs. Although it may have appeared that Lawrence,22, pulled a Julianne Hough — aka ripped her couture dress — she just actually revealed a bottom layer of chiffon material that was part of her navy blue Dior dress. Lawrence picked up the hem of her dress to avoid tripping on it or, worse, having it get caught on a chair on the way to the stage, according to The Hollywood Reporter. However, in her shock at winning the best actress trophy, Lawrence forgot her dress was not all one piece and she simply only lifted one layer of the dress. First world problems, eh?
