Report: Jennifer Hudson Is Pregnant, Throws Baby Shower
Jennifer Hudson will soon sing lullabies: The Oscar and Grammy winner is pregnant with her first child, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Hudson, who's engaged to I Love New York 2's David Otunga, held a baby shower in her native Chicago on Saturday, her longtime friend, Felicia Fields, told the paper.
"It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family," Fields said. "They're really trying to keep it kind of quiet."
Asked if the couple received pink or blue gifts, Fields told the paper, "They don't know [the gender]. More yellow."
Fields did not specify a due date, but the Chicago Sun-Times reports that Hudson, 27, is seven months along.
Hudson's rep had no comment for the paper.
The baby news comes seven months after Hudson's mother, brother and nephew were found dead. The singer's estranged brother-in-law, William Balfour, has pleaded not guilty to three counts of murder.
