Jennifer Hudson will continue her return to the music spotlight with a performance at the NAACP Image Awards.
The Oscar-winning singer/actress is up for eight awards at the Feb. 12 ceremony — two for her role in The Secret Life of Bees and six for her eponymous debut album.
Joining Hudson for the 40th annual show are Seal, who will also perform, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Taraji P. Henson, Keke Palmer, Regina Taylor and Kerry Washington. Halle Berry and Tyler Perry will host the festivities.
Hudson made her first public appearance since the October slayings of her mother, brother and nephew at Super Bowl XLIII, where she gave a rousing rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner." She is next scheduled to perform at the MusiCares Person of the Year Gala on Feb. 6, and will appear two days later at the Grammys, where she is nominated for four trophies.
The Image Awards air live at 8 pm/ET on Fox.
