Jennifer Hudson will come home for the holidays — and you'll get to see it all on her new ABC special.
On Jennifer Hudson: I'll Be Home for Christmas, the Oscar winner will relive her childhood Christmases with musical performances filmed at her favorite locations in her native Chicago. Hudson, who gave birth to a son in August, will also visit family members, friends and other childhood influences during the broadcast, ABC announced.

"I can't wait to hear her take on Christmas classics as we discover what she loves about her hometown of Chicago," said ABC's Vicki Dummer, senior veep of alternative series, specials and late-night.
The special is slated to air in December.
