Jennifer Aniston spoke out for the first time about her naked GQ cover at the Thursday premiere of her new movie, Marley & Me.
Aniston said, "I wasn't trying to make any statement," about the cover and subsequent photos in which she appears in only a neck tie, reports Us.
Her on-again boyfriend John Mayer (who did not walk the carpet with Aniston), said he thought she looked smokin' hot.
"I mean, if I have a problem with that cover, I should just get the hell out of here," the rocker teased.
Later, when a reporter tried to get Mayer to pose with the cover in hand, he joked, "No, don't make me hold it - you're pimping me out! Because when I touch it, angels die."
In the January 2009 GQ issue, 39-year-old Aniston said she and Mayer "care deeply for each other, and we're just trying to figure it out."
And after speaking repeatedly on the subject, Aniston tried one more time to dispel persistent rumors, saying, "I am not having his baby. And I have not popped the question."
