Jennifer Aniston

Life is mirroring art — or at least film titles — for Jennifer Aniston.

During her acceptance speech at Friday's Women in Film Awards, where the actress was honored with the Crystal Award for expanding the role of women in the entertainment industry, Aniston noted that the events in her life, namely her love life, have been reflected in her film titles.

"It started with, well, The Good Girl," she said. "Then that evolved into Rumor Has It, followed by Derailed, and then there was The Break-Up. And then on the lighter side was Friends with Money, which I felt was a bit on the nose."

Having realized the odd parallels, Aniston says she now knows what she wants her next project to be. "If anyone has a movie called Everlasting Love with an Adult Stable Man... I'm at table six, and my agents are at table 12," she joked.

Aniston most recently split with John Mayer in March. Mayer got a little shout-out at the ceremony too, courtesy of Chelsea Handler, who presented Aniston with her award. "You have increased the visibility of women in film, and we thank you for that," Handler said. "You've recently decreased the visibility of John Mayer, so we thank you for that."

The quip prompted Aniston to bury her head in her hands, a witness told Us Weekly. "[She] was laughing so hard," the witness said. "Her two girlfriends on either side started laughing hysterically."
