Jenna Fischer's Pregnancy to Be Written Into The Office

Jenna Fischer

Jenna Fischer has confirmed to Vulture that her real-life pregnancy is being written into the new season of The Office.

James Spader joins The Office

"Pam will be pregnant when the season starts," says Fischer, who announced her pregnancy in May. "Pam and Jim snuck away last season on Valentine's Day, and they had sex. The story is that they conceived this baby at that time and were keeping it a secret until we come back from the summer." In an almost-too-perfect coincidence, Fischer says she thinks she found out she was pregnant while she was filming the aforementioned Valentine's Day episode.

The Office's John Krasinski on getting married: "Life changed a lot"

This will be Baby No. 2 for Pam and Jim (John Krasinski).

But what about the question on everyone's mind: Who is replacing Steve Carell's Michael Scott? Fischer says she knows, but isn't allowed to say just yet. (Boo!)
