Jay Leno will say his second goodbye to The Tonight Show this February, Deadline.com reports.
Leno's final Tonight Show is scheduled to air on Feb. 6 — the day before the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi begin. Although Leno is signing off in February, his staff will be paid until September, when Leno's contract with the network ends.
Which TV businesses would you invest in?
It is still unclear what Leno will do after Jimmy Fallon succeeds him as host of The Tonight Show, but NBC Entertainment Chief Bob Greenblatt said at the Television Critics Association's fall previews that NBC is talking with Leno about "various ideas" for future projects. "Nothing would make us happier for Jay, a la Bob Hope, to have presence at the network, we're really hoping to do that, post February," Greenblatt said.
