Keck's Exclusives: Jane Lynch Lauds Jodie Foster

Jane Lynch

The speech Jodie Foster gave when accepting her Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement was well received by the actors in the ballroom, who gave the two-time Oscar and Golden Globe winner a standing ovation. I asked Glee's Jane Lynch for her take on Foster's remarks.

"It was really moving and touching," says Lynch, who is gay. "I loved that she shared a little bit about her inner life with us, and what she said about her mother [who suffers from dementia] broke my heart. I like the fact that she operates without telling everybody what she's doing. It was a big moment that she let us into her private thoughts, and I'm really grateful I was there for it."
