James Taylor has broken his leg and injured his shoulder while skiing in Utah, The Associated Press reports.

The Grammy winner, 63, fractured his leg Monday, the first day of his family vacation in Utah, according to one of Taylor's assistants.
Earlier this month, Taylor was one of 20 artists, scholars and writers honored by President Barack Obama at the White House in a salute to the arts and humanities.
