Atonement star James McAvoy and his wife, British actress Anne-Marie Duff, are expecting their first child, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
"We are happy to confirm that James McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff are expecting their first child," their rep Rupert Fowler said in a statement. "We have no further comment or information at this time."

McAvoy, 30, and Duff, 39, met in 2003 after appearing on the British series Shameless and have been married since October 2006. The pair can currently be seen alongside Helen Mirren in The Last Station.
