James Franco is checking back into General Hospital.
The actor, 32, will reprise his role as performance artist Franco on the ABC soap starting June 30, the network announced Tuesday.
Franco (the character) returns to continue his "obsessive vendetta" against Jason (Steve Burton) that will leave the hospital in peril, the network said.

"Working on General Hospital was a great experience. I love the cast, writers, directors and producers," Franco said. "They have become a new family for me. I can't wait for the work we will do this summer."
Franco, who appeared in more than 20 episodes of the soap from November to February, can also be seen on the big screen this summer in Eat, Pray, Love.
