True Blood's James Frain Joins NBC's Grimm in Season 2

Grimm is getting an early start on casting: James Frain has signed on for Season 2 as a recurring guest star, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
The True Blood and The Tudors alum will play Eric Renard, the brother of Capt. Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz). The estranged brothers will be reunited when Eric makes his way to Portland just as an evil creature also lands there. As first reported by Zap2It.com, Eric is also a little evil himself, and may not have the best intentions for Nick (David Giuntoli).
Production on the second season of the fairy-tale procedural is set to begin this week, with NBC expected to launch the season in August off the Olympics.
