Jaime Pressly Pleads Not Guilty to DUI

Jaime Pressly pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence, People reports.

In January, Pressly was pulled over in Santa Monica, Calif., and was taken into custody after police performed a field sobriety test. On Tuesday, the 33-year-old actress was formally charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher at that time.

A lawyer appeared Friday in a Santa Monica court on Pressly's behalf to make the plea. Her next hearing is scheduled for March 18.

Pressly, who starred in NBC's My Name is Earl, recently filed for divorce from husband Simran Sigh, citing irreconcilable differences.
