Kevin Nealon will star opposite Marcia Gay Harden in NBC's new comedy pilot Isabel, Deadline reports.
NBC taps Marcia Gay Harden for new comedy Isabel
He will play the flighty husband of Harden's Francis, the matriarch of a middle-class family that has to deal with the challenges of raising a daughter, Isabel (Sophia Mitri Schloss) with magical qualities. Nealon is still expected to appear in the eighth and likely final season of Showtime's Weeds.
Inspired by the French-Canadian series Le Monde De Charlotte, the series will be executive-produced by Howard Busgang and Tom Nursall.
