SNL Makes Another House Call with Host Hugh Laurie

Hugh Laurie

The doctor is in, again.

House star Hugh Laurie has been tapped to host Saturday Night Live's final show of 2008, airing Dec. 13.

Laurie previously lorded over Studio 8H in October 2006. Following a monologue about the differences between British and American humour, Laurie participated in sketches about paranormal experts' interpretation of fart noises, the silly demands of the Queen of England (such as "mini tables and chairs so she can feel superior") and one in which he played the wife of Kenan Thompson.

Back then, Laurie was joined by musical guest Beck. This time, three-time SNLer Kanye West will bring the tunes.

John Malkovich hosts this weekend's SNL, with musical guest T.I.
