Howie Mandel Released After Being Hospitalized for Irregular Heartbeat

Deal or No Deal host Howie Mandel was released from a Toronto hospital Tuesday after being admitted with an irregular heartbeat a day earlier, according to his rep.
Mandel, who was in Canada shooting an episode of his new hidden-camera prank show, Howie Do It, will be heading back to work Wednesday, publicist Lewis Kay tells TVGuide.com. "[Howie] appreciates everyone's concern," Kay said.
Paramedics responded to Mandel at Toronto's Sheraton Center Hotel, police said. He was conscious and responsive while being transported to St. Michaels Hospital, where he was treated.
"He did not have a heart attack," Kay said in an earlier statement, refuting early reports that Mandel's condition was more serious.
