Netflix Sets Air Date for House of Cards

Netflix will debut its original series House of Cards on Feb. 1, 2013.
From executive producer David Fincher and Media Rights Capital, House of Cards stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright as a politician and his ambitious wife in the corrupt world of D.C. politics. Kate Mara, Corey Stoll, Kristen Connolly, Michael Kelly and Sakina Jaffrey also star.

In addition to his producing duties, Fincher also directed the first two episodes of the series.
All 13 episodes of the first season will be available simultaneously to all Netflix members in North America, the UK, Ireland, Latin America and Scandinavia. "In offering the entire season at once, Netflix is giving viewers complete control over how and when they watch the show," said Ted Sarandos, Netflix's chief content officer.
