According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actors have signed on to co-star in the second season of HBO's shrink-tastic In Treatment as Dr. Paul Weston's (Gabriel Byrne) new patients.
Davis, last seen on TV in ABC's short-lived Six Degrees, will play Mira, a malpractice lawyer and ex-patient of Weston's who shows up to blame him for her being single and childless.
Mahoney will return to TV as Bill, a CEO who "finds life getting away from him."
Season 2 of In Treatment, which chronicles Weston's weekly patient sessions and his own with therapist, Dr. Gina Toll (Dianne Wiest), will premiere next year.
Thus far, only Byrne and Wiest, who won an Emmy for her role last month, have been confirmed to return from the first season.
