Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and Chris Tyrell Tie the Knot

Hillary Scott; Chris Tyrrell

Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott has married drummer Chris Tyrrell, the couple announced on their band's website.

"We just wanted you to hear it from us first," Scott says in the video message. "We love you. We're so excited to be starting our life together and we just had to let you in on the exciting news."

The couple tied the knot Saturday in upstate New York, according to People. Scott, 25, wore a Vera Wang strapless gown and a mantilla veil with hand-cut Chantilly lace appliqué. Steven Curtis Chapman performed for the couple's first dance.

Scott and Tyrell met on tour in 2010 when their bands were opening for Tim McGraw. After they began dating, Tyrrell became the lead drummer for Scott's Lady Antebellum. They became engaged on Fourth of July weekend last year.
