Hillary Clinton Discharged From Hospital

Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton has been released from the New York hospital where she was receiving treatment for a blood clot in her head, The Associated Press reports.

The Secretary of State's spokesman, Philippe Reines, says Clinton's doctors advised that she has been making progress on all fronts and that they expect her to make a full recovery.

Reines also said Clinton, 65, is grateful for the care she received and eager to get back to work. It is not yet known when she will return to the State Department for her final weeks in office.

Clinton was admitted to the hospital Sunday when doctors discovered a blood clot between her brain and her skull during a follow-up exam for a concussion she sustained early in December.
