Hilary Duff has the right stuff to portray a Barely Legal lawyer for NBC.The singer/actress, who signed a talent deal with the Peacock and Universal Media Studios in November, is slated to star in the network's new half-hour comedy, Barely Legal, The Hollywood Reporter reports.The series is based on the true story of Kathleen Holtz (Duff), who at age 18 became the youngest person to pass the California bar in November 2007.Created by Numb3rs star Rob Morrow, Legal has been ordered to pilot. He will serve as executive producer though his company Bits and Pieces Prods. Elisa Bell (Little Black Book) is writing the project.Will you tune into Duff's new series?
