Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie
If there's one thing Hilary Duff isn't shy about, it's fighting for her man's honor.
During a guest appearance on the Rachael Ray Show, Duff told the talk show host that she defends her New York Islander boyfriend against the "intense fans" — and even threatens to throw down.
"I like to sit in the audience, you know I don't sit up in a box or anything, and people started to know that I'm sitting there, and they'll be like 'Mike sucks!' Or [they] try to rile me up," Duff said. "And I'm like, 'Hey, watch it! I'll come up there, you know.'"
Duff admitted that she found the fans to be "nuts" at first, but once she got the gist of the game, she "got really into it."
The former Lizzie McGuire star also commented on her Faye Dunaway feud, who reportedly implied Duff wasn't a worthy enough actress to be cast in the Bonnie & Clyde remake.
"Obviously, it was a little hurtful," said Duff. "I have always taken the high road when it comes to people talking bad about me, and I'm over it."
