Heroes Star Hulas to Hawaii Five-0
Greg Grunberg and Masi Oka
Heroes actor Greg Grunberg won't be able to rely on his mindreading powers for his next law enforcement gig. He will join his former castmate Masi Oka on Hawaii Five-0 for a November episode, TVLine reports.
Grunnie, as his friends call him, will play an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who handles Homeland Security threats and keeps an eye out for items smuggled into Honolulu. Executive producer Peter M. Lenkov tells the site that Grunberg's character will be working with the newly added character played by Lauren German and that "his first exposure to working directly with Five-0 is when the team handles the murder investigation of an ICE Agent under command."

That's when Oka will then step in as coroner. He'll have at least one scene with Grunberg, whose role could recur.
Hawaii Five-0 returns for its second season starting Monday, Sept. 19 at 10/9c on NBC.
